Golden Shoes

She wore golden shoes and left a golden trail,
a trail straight with clear skies all the way, never overzealous.
Although pretty, her shoes weren't built for long walking,
they faltered, blisters, and sore heels lead her astray.
Her path now a new, clarity dissipates and life begins its wicked trickery.
She walks now barefoot,  terrain alters,
discomfort, pain, and relief are a never ending three.
Yet she is free.

Yellow Mellow

I had a yellow day today,
a mellow yellow day.

I drifted off today,
drifted into a long haze.

Nothing is fair,
but everything is clear.

Circles with four sides,
shadows full of light.

I like this kind of day,
a yellow mellow day.

You can learn a lot from the flowers...

How pretty they stand,
how open they can be,
you can learn a lot from flowers.

sitting amongst the flowers

I sit amongst the flowers,
because they are pretty,
Maybe I will be pretty too.

I sit amongst the flowers,
others stop and notice them,
Maybe I will be noticed too.

I sit amongst the flowers,
some try to pick them,
Maybe they will pick me too.

I sit amongst the flowers,
fall comes and strips them nude,
But here I still sit,
I am glad I am not a flower,
are you?

flash off, life is a blurr anyway...

I want to take a picture,
an itty-bitty picture,
put it in my pocket,
and take it every where I go.
